Route 58 speed limit reduces to 35 mph as widening project in Suffolk enters phase II starting week of July 25

SUFFOLK, Va. - The Department of Public Works in Suffolk is preparing to enter Phase II of construction on Route 58.

Construction will require a speed limit reduction to from 45mph 35 mph through the three-mile work zone.

Speed limit reductions will take effect the week of July 25,2022 and will continue throughout the duration of the project.
