NORFOLK, Va. - Building a new home? Doing some remodeling or even a little redecorating?

Find inspiration at the 2020 CoVa Idea House!

The partnership between Coastal Virginia Magazine and Stephen Alexander Homes is in its fifth year, showcasing the latest and greatest in homebuilding.

This year's home is in the Marina Cottages section of Norfolk's East Beach Neighborhood.

It has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms -- featuring a 16-foot window that opens into a near-seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor living spaces.

"It's a 2500-square-foot house. Very beachy colors, very subdued," said Lisa Davenport with Coastal Virginia Magazine. "[The view] is amazing."

You can tour the 2020 CoVa Idea house and get inspired starting this weekend. Visitors are asked to bring non-perishable food items, baby products or personal hygiene items to donate to the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.
