YORK COUNTY, Va. — The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office got a new K-9 on Monday.
Sarge is a bloodhound that will be used to search for missing or lost people, as well as those evading law enforcement.
He was born in November and was the first hire by the new sheriff.
The Sheriff's Office said he is already excelling in his training.
Sarge was provided to YPSO by Mary's Cedar Ridge Bloodhounds.
