DALLAS, Texas – By unanimous vote, Conference USA announced Thursday the cancellation of formal and organized practice for the spring semester, effective immediately for all 14-member institutions.
This includes ODU’s planned spring football practice and spring game, which was slated for April 18th. This means the public's first official look at ODU's football team under first-year head coach Ricky Rahne will come Friday September 4th vs. Wake Forest in the 2020 season opener.
The conference indicated that all other team activities, such as individual workouts, will be governed by NCAA rules within each institution’s discretion.
