The good news comes three months after Rivera finished his cancer treatment in October.
Rivera learned he had squamous cell carcinoma in August, and while the 58 year-old missed some practice time, he was on the sideline for every game.
Prayers have been answered. Thx to all the Drs & nurses who “Coached up” @RiverboatRonHC and me and gave us the winning game plan to defeat cancer. The PET scan said it all, cancer you lost this fight! #RiveraStrong
