Meteorologist April Loveland's First Warning Forecast

Unseasonably cold overnight with temperatures dipping into the 30s. A Frost Advisory and Freeze Warning are in effect until 8 AM Sunday morning. Take steps now to protect sensitive vegetation and outdoor plumbing.

Plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid 60s for Mother's Day. Not as cold overnight with lows near 50. A few scattered showers possible heading into Monday morning as a cold front moves across the area. Otherwise we'll see clouds. The clouds will clear as the day progresses. Keeping rain chances low at this point.

The week is looking pretty quiet as high pressure builds in and keeps us dry. Temperatures will run a bit below normal through Wednesday. Expect highs in the mid and upper 60s. We'll finally warm up into the mid and upper 70s by Thursday. Even warmer on Friday with highs in the low 80s. Rain chances return on Saturday.
