Fasten your seatbelts, the weather is about to take us on another wild ride.
After an unusually warm Friday, with high temperatures well into the 70s and even a few low 80s, the bottom will drop out this weekend.
A powerful cold front will cross the region Friday night. That will bring us high temperatures on Saturday afternoon about 20° cooler than Friday. And temperatures will continue to drop on Sunday.
Most areas probably won’t even get out of the 40s. And on top of that we can expect scattered light showers on Sunday, mainly for the first half of the day.
Spring begins late next week and we do have a warming trend on the way. Expect high temperatures in the mid 50s on Monday, lower 60s on Tuesday and Wednesday, mid 60s on Thursday and back into the 70s by Friday!
The trade off though is rain. We will have at least a slight chance for showers just about every day, with our highest chances Thursday and Friday.
