HAMPTON ROADS, VA—ODU Women’s Basketball Coach, DeLisha Milton-Jones will have her Jersey retired by the LA Sparks this July. Wearing #8, Milton-Jones won two WNBA Championships during her 11 years in LA.
The forward was drafted by the LA Sparks in 1999 as the fourth overall pick, playing 344 games and averaging 11.7 points plus 5.5 rebounds. She also won 2 gold medals on the US Women’s Olympic team
At ODU, Coach Milton-Jones led the team to three-straight 20-plus win seasons from 2021-24.
