Hampton Roads, VA—The Tidewater Oyster Gardeners Association (TOGA) is a non-profit organization established in 1997 to promote the environmental health of the Chesapeake Bay and now offers workshops on how to start your own oyster garden.
Retired Professor Richard Siciliano gave us a sneak peek at what his oyster workshops cover for those who attend. Surprisingly, starting your own garden is fairly straightforward, and once you create one, it serves as a filter feeder for marine life.
