HAMPTON ROADS, VA—Valeria Rojas is a sixteen-year-old vocalist from Newport News. Although she enjoys a wide array of music across genres and time periods, she has a particular liking for jazz and folk traditions from the twenties to the sixties. Closely involved with the Hampton Roads music scene, entering her junior year at Woodside High School, she is truly passionate about music and sharing it with anybody who’d like to listen.
