HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - Old Dominion University Political Analyst Jesse Richman called Tuesday’s debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden a “demolition derby.”

His counterpart at Norfolk State, Dr. Eric Claville, agreed, calling it “simply chaos.”

Richman and Claville spoke with News 3 anchor Kurt Williams for a segment we’re calling “Think Tank.”

Both Richman and Claville expect more of the same in the second debate, scheduled for October 15 in Miami.

The Commission on Presidential Debates is making changes to the format ahead of round two.

Richman believes we’ll see more of the same. Claville thinks President Trump is going to put his foot to the pedal.
