UPDATE: Backups on I-64 and I-664 in Hampton caused by two separate shootings: Police

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:
HAMPTON, Va. — Virginia State Police is investigating a pair of reported shootings in Hampton Monday night.

Around 7:45 p.m., troopers said they were called to a "possible shooting" in the area of eastbound I-64 and Settlers Landing.

Around 10:10 p.m., State Police said they responded to a separate shooting incident where a victim exited I-664 at Power Plant Parkway in Hampton. State Police said this is being investigated separately from the one on I-64.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation had been called to both scenes.

State Police did not release any other information about either case, but this report comes after I-64 was shut down on June 1 for a shooting that involved and a three-car crash.
