UPDATE: Woman shot & killed in the Ocean View section of Norfolk identified by police
Police in Norfolk say a woman was shot and killed in the Ocean View section of the city early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to East Ocean View Avenue near Capeview Avenue for a shooting shortly after 2 a.m. Police say a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the following investigation, officers closed the portion of East Ocean View Avenue between Capeview Avenue and Inlet Road for several hours.
News 3 cameras spotted multiple police vehicles and crime scene tape blocking the road.
