HAMPTON ROADS, VA—Located in its own pavilion in downtown Hampton, the carousel is a striking tribute to craftsmanship. It features original mirrors and oil paintings, alongside 48 beautifully decorated horses. Rising and falling to the sounds of the original band organ, many of these horses are intricately carved, with visible veins in their necks and legs.
