NORFOLK, Va. — A man was killed in a shooting on E. Olney Road on Thursday, according to Norfolk police.
Around 5:22 p.m., police responded to a reported shooting in the 800 Block of E Olney Road. A man — suffering from life-threatening injuries — was sent to the hospital after officers arrived, according to Norfolk police. On Friday, police shared that he did not survive.
Police identified the man who died as John Howard Sr., 56, of Norfolk.
His death is being investigated as a homicide, according to Norfolk police.
