NORFOLK, Va. — A man has died following a shooting in Norfolk Monday afternoon, according to the city's police department.
The shooting happened around noon in the 700 block of E. 28th Street, police say. That's in the Villa Heights neighborhood.
When officers arrived, they found Montario D. Johnson, Jr., 19, of Norfolk, seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police say they're continuing their investigation into the shooting.
