SUFFOLK, Va. — Suffolk police are advising a shelter in place as they search for an armed man on Hollywood Avenue.
Officers are working between Oregon Avenue and Georgia Avenue along Hollywood Avenue in their search for 46-year-old Hakim Nesif Trent, who should be considered armed and dangerous. Police say he was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, white or light-colored shoes, glasses, and possibly a backpack. He is believed to be traveling on foot.
Residents should shelter in place and call 911 if they see Trent. Police are also asking people to avoid the area until further notice.
