VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A pedestrian is dead after a crash on in Virginia Beach Wednesday evening, police said.
Police received the call about the crash at 8:26 p.m. The Virginia Beach Police Department Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the fatal crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
Police say the driver is cooperative and no charged are anticipated.
Traffic headed east on Holland Road is being diverted at the intersection. Drivers should expect delays.
