HAMPTON, Va. — A death investigation is underway after a body was recovered from the water on Thursday, according to Hampton police.
It was reported that a body was found floating in waters near 99 Tide Mill Drive around 9:05 a.m. Hampton police say the body recovered appears to be an adult man, but the identity has not been confirmed.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the official cause and manner of death.
