NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A man has died after being shot early in the morning on Wednesday, according to Newport News police.
Police responded to the 1200 block of 29th Street around 12:36 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man shot inside a residence. He later died at the hospital, according to NNPD.
Police have not shared information about a suspect and are continuing to investigate the shooting.
