NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Four inmates at the Newport News City Jail were hospitalized in connection with an overdosing incident last Thursday, the Newport News Sheriff's Office said Monday.
Specifically, NNSO says this incident was caused by an "unknown substance." All four inmates have since returned to jail after being hospitalized.
