NORFOLK, Va. — Multiple schools along Granby Street between Willowood Drive and Wards Corner in Norfolk locked down briefly Tuesday afternoon due to a reported shooting in the area.

Around 1:20 p.m., a call reported a shooting in the 200 Block of Harvard Street, just behind Granby High School. Norfolk police said no injuries were reported but they are investigating.
The 200 block of Harvard Street is adjacent to the sports complex just behind Granby High.
Footage from the News 3 crew on scene showed numerous, heavily-armed officers around near an apartment building on Harvard Street.
Norfolk Public Schools posted to social media just after 3 p.m. that, "Due to an earlier incident at Granby High School," elementary and middle school bus routes may be delayed.
