Virginia Beach school board votes to consolidate 6th graders to Bayside Middle School

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Following a unanimous Virginia Beach School Board vote, Bayside sixth graders will recombine with Bayside Middle School in the 2025-26 school year.

School board leaders invited parents and guardians to a special meeting Nov. 6, where they were allowed to give their opinion on the matter.
