John Hood joined the WTKR News 3 team in October of 2023 as an MMJ. He's happy to be home in Hampton Roads after previously reporting in Harrisonburg and in Richmond.
John graduated from Tallwood High School in Virginia Beach back in 2014 and later graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University.
John is a pizza enthusiast and when he's not grabbing a slice he's running around Mount Trashmore or down at the Oceanfront.
