WILLIAMSBURG, VA — On August 7, 2026, the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office got a call about a shooting at 11:00 p.m.
Once deputies arrived to the scene at the 100 block of Emma Rose Court, that's where they found an 18-year-old male victim had been shot in the chest.
The victim was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead due to the gunshot wound.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
