NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A man died following a shooting Saturday morning in Newport News.
Police said it happened around 7:10 a.m. on Poplar Avenue — that's near 19th Street and Blair Avenue. When authorities got to the scene, they found a man who had been shot.
The man died at the hospital, police said.
Police said the shooting appears to be domestic-related and they are not looking for any suspects at this time.
