NORFOLK, Va. — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday afternoon when he crashed on Granby Street in the 3600 block, a few blocks down from the Virginia Zoo, Norfolk police said.
The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said. The call came in a bit before 3 p.m.
Traffic lanes were blocked in both directions on Granby Street around 3 p.m.
A photo obtained by WTKR showed a small fire at the site and a body nearby.
