Bon Secours gives away nearly 300 turkeys to neighbors facing food insecurity

PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Nearly 300 turkeys and sides were given out to those facing food insecurity by Bon Secours this week.

With the support from Operation Blessing, community members lined the block around Bon Secours Community Health Hub in Portsmouth on Monday.

Bon Secours says the effort aims to bring "holiday relief and a little extra joy during a time of hardship" to neighbors who may be struggling to put food on the table.
