PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man was injured following a reported shooting in Portsmouth early Tuesday morning, according to police.
Around 12:23 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 700 Block of Piedmont Avenue. At the scene, police say they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to police. No further information was provided on his condition.
