VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Virginia Beach fire crews were working again on putting out a fire in a house on Mozart Drive Friday morning after a man died in a fire Thursday.
Fire officials put out the fire in the 1200 block of Mozart Drive on fire, but it appeared to catch fire again Friday morning, prompting a second fight.
Video shared by VBFD Friday showed a house destroyed by the blaze and crews attacking it from the top.
The man found dead in the house Thursday has not yet been identified. No other injuries were reported, according to VBFD.
In the footage from VBFD, it appeared that neighboring homes on both sides also sustained damage from the fire, though they did not seem structurally damaged.
This incident remains under investigation.
