NORFOLK, Va. — A multi-vehicle crash on I-64 resulted in multiple injuries Tuesday afternoon, according to Virginia State Police.
This happened around 2:17 p.m. in the westbound lanes at exit 276B in Norfolk, police say.
Police say the crash happened when a Ford F-150 rear-ended a Hyundai Sonata, causing the Sonata to hit a VDOT attenuator head-on. The Sonata was then hit by a dump truck and spun into a Toyota Camry.
Police did not elaborate on the extent of the multiple injuries, and it's unclear how many people were hurt.
The incident remains under investigation.
