NORFOLK, Va. — A 58-year-old man was seriously hurt after a car hit him Tuesday night, according to Norfolk police.
NPD responded to Tidewater Drive near the I-64 overpass at around 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday. The man was riding a bicycle at the time of the crash and the driver fled after hitting him, said Norfolk police.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue took the man with life-threatening injuries to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Norfolk police say the crash is being investigated.
