WINDSOR, N.C. — There is a large law enforcement presence at the Bertie-Martin Regional Jail, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office.
The incident is contained to the inside of the jail and there is no threat to the general public, MCSO said.
MCSO said the situation was active as of 7:26 a.m.
