PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A 33-year-old man died after a shooting on Thursday night, according to Portsmouth police.
Portsmouth police responded to the 1100 block of Virginia Avenue at around midnight on Thursday. Officers found 33-year-old Bernard William Parks, who had been shot.
Parks was taken to a local hospital where he later died, according to PPD.
Portsmouth police have not shared information about a suspect and are continuing to investigate the shooting.
