SUFFOLK, Va. — A motorcyclist died following a crash on Route 58 Thursday night, according to Suffolk police.
The crash happened around 6:40 p.m. on Route 58 eastbound near the Chesapeake City line, police say.
Police say the motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle, drove into a nearby wood line, and died at the scene.
The motorcyclist has been identified by police as Fletcher Michael Kittle, 26, from Suffolk.
The incident is still being investigated by police.
