HAMPTON ROADS, VA—Norfolk State University is celebrating Earth Day on April 22, 2026, but every day the university is striving to reduce its carbon footprint.
Through on-campus initiatives and a progressive curriculum, Biology chair, Dr. Ashley N. Haines, and Richard E. Martin, the Director of Energy and Sustainability, shared how NSU is committed to making our planet greener.
