HAMPTON, Va. — A car fire closed lanes in the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel early Monday morning, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
East lanes of the HRBT were closed at around 4:45 a.m. for a car fire, according to VDOT. At 6:25 a.m., VDOT said the east lanes remain closed due to a multi-vehicle crash. Traffic on the bridge is being redirected to Settlers Landing Exit 267.
