HAMPTON, Va. — A child drowned in a pool in Hampton on June 6, according to the Hampton Police Division.
Around 1:44 p.m., officers arrived at the 1st block of Westbriar Drive on the report of an unresponsive 2-year-old in a pool, according to HPD. Hampton Fire Rescue officials were already at the scene giving first aid.
The child was taken to a local hospital where they died, according to HPD.
