HAMPTON, Va. — A pedestrian died after being hit by a motorcycle early Tuesday morning, according to Hampton police.
Officers responded to the intersection of Todds Lane and Aberdeen Road after receiving a call at around 12:08 a.m. and found a pedestrian who had been hit by a motorcycle while in the crosswalk.
The pedestrian died at the scene, police said.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Hampton police are continuing to investigate the crash.
