NORFOLK, Va. — Detectives have charged a teen in connection to a hit-and-run crash involving a child in Norfolk Saturday night, according to the Norfolk Police Department.
Norfolk Police say on Saturday Aug. 22, around 10:25 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of West 40th Street and Bowdens Ferry Road after a pedestrian was struck by a car. We're told the suspect vehicle fled the scene.
Police say a 9-year-old boy was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
After an investigation, detectives charged Christian Tabb, 18, of North Chesterfield, with hit and run resulting in personal injury.
The investigation remain ongoing.
