SUFFOLK, Va. — A person died following a two-vehicle crash on Portsmouth Boulevard Wednesday morning, according to Suffolk police.
Police say a car rear ended a semi-truck.The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Jason Rose, 70, of Chesapeake has been charged with DUI/DUID vehicular manslaughter. There could be more charges based on results of the investigation.
The 1300 block of Portsmouth Boulevard was shut down for four and a half hours. It has since reopened.
