VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A multi-vehicle crash on I-64 eastbound resulted in several lanes shutting down, according to Virginia State Police.
Around 7:58 a.m., police responded to a dump truck that was overturned on I-64 near Indian River Road. Lanes have been shut down so crews can clean up debris on the road way — Virginia State Police says express lanes are currently open so traffic can still flow.
Some people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries related to this incident — however, Virginia State Police did not specify the exact number.
Virginia State Police have also yet to provide information regarding the series of events that led to this crash.
