CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A home was left heavily damaged after a school bus collided into a car Friday morning, according to Chesapeake police.
Around 8:56 p.m., officers responded to the incident at the intersection of Rodgers Street and Chesapeake Drive. Chesapeake police say the school bus side swiped a car while traveling southbound on Rodgers Street. The car then lost control and drove into a parked car, which then collided into a detached garage.
Eight students and a driver were on the bus at the time of the collision, according to Chesapeake Public Schools. No injuries were reported, according to Chesapeake police.
Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor in these collisions, according to Chesapeake police.
